Brian "Head" Welch & "Tales of Resurrection"

While reading through Brian "Head" Welch's book Save Me From Myself: How I Found God, Quit Korn, Kicked Drugs, and Lived to Tell My Story, I wrote the following poem. Welch is a former guitarist with the band Korn, and this book is his testimony of redemption.

I read a story of resurrection
A tale of life from death
Death disrobed like a towel
On a cold stone floor
After a warm bath
In the living water of the Son
Baptized, Cleansed, Raised to walk
As a new man who has been claimed

I live a story of resurrection
A journey of peaks and dales
Formed from the shedding of dried bones
Of death exchanged for breath
Breathed into my nostrils by the Wind of Life

Brian hopefully, or anyone who can help me. Predicament below is of drugs and alcohol....

I am in a predicament. I once was in rehab and taught a bible study with approximately fifteen guys every morning at 7:15am. After I got out I was nothing more than a freak about GOD!!! I then came to San Antonio to live with my mother and stay on track, finish my last year of college and spread the WORD more than anything! I would love to just talk to someone right now, not doing well, but I know I can, just like Brian!!! The "Change" is something else. If you have not been through it you don;t know the feeling, if you have, you love it! I really hope to hear from Brian himself or maybe just anyone at this point.....I have to take a min to finish this....tears of joy just to reach out are pouring out and I want nothing more than to quite all this crap and get on with the life I had for about 9 months. Hope someone is out there for me, here on earth to help me out, GOD will always be right behind me but sometimes you need a boost of confidence from you fellow Christians to get you through tough times. I see no comments yet.....as far as materialistic things go, I own three companies and am a salesman from Heaven HAHA! I hope this is true, although I wonder who to even pray to......God or Jesus??? Hope to hear back from anyone at this point!!!! Need it.....Thanks
